May 24, 2010
Dear Valued Vendor: Please allow me to jump right to our Company’s very positive news... Effective May 21, 2010, we officially exited from the Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings. We are now, a stronger, more viable company with a strengthened balance sheet and a dramatic reduction in our outstanding debt. This is great news for you! We are beginning the process of paying valid, pre-petition claims—invoices for products or services provided prior to the January 4, 2010. Unless requested, you do not need to submit your invoice again. You can expect to see payment for valid claims—outstanding invoices—within the next 2 – 4 weeks. As before, however, the process for payment of all post-petition invoices—after January 4, 2010—will continue as normal and will be paid in accordance with our terms. We hope that our dedication to managing our day-to-day operations per usual course of business had minimal impact on you as a trusted vendor and partner. Your cooperation during this time has given our Company the support it needed to ensure our long-term success. This has been a true team effort that has paid off with a positive outlook for our Company’s future. As part of that future, and per the terms of our Plan of Reorganization, we will be operating under a new corporate name, International Architectural Group LLC. Our Company’s brands United States Aluminum, RACO Interior Products, International Window and International Extrusion will retain their names and structures. So you understand, our new corporate structure will be virtually seamless to you as we will still produce the same high quality products, and adhere to our standards of superior customer service. Thank you for being an integral part of our success. I and the rest of the management team look forward to a long future with you as a valued vendor and partner. Sincerely, Dick Almy |
